Kenneth Lee Hewett, Jr., age 71, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021, in Brownwood, Texas.

He was born on May 23, 1949, in Columbus, Georgia, to Kenneth Lee Hewett, Sr. and Mildred (Gainey) Hewett. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran. Kenneth was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an independent truck driver for most of his working life, a job he really loved.

He is survived by his daughter, Michele Markle and husband Steven of Comanche; son, Kenneth Hewett, III, and wife Pam of Kingman, Arizona; grandchildren, Kenny Lee, Skylar, Hunter, and Chase; great-grandson, Eli; former wife and friend, Virginia P. Hewett; sister, Shirley H. Butler of Woodlands; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Benton; and sister, Betty Lopez.
