Linda Smith Clark, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in Comanche, Texas.
She was born on July 22, 1945, in Gorman, Texas, to Herman “Shorty” and Odessa (Reed) McDonald. In June, 2008, she was united in marriage to Barry Clark in Lampasas County, Texas. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was friendly, outgoing and kind. For over twenty years she was a Med-Aide and for several years worked at Western Hills Healthcare Residence in Comanche. Linda was a member of Proctor Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Barry Clark of Comanche; son, Mike Smith and wife Debbie of Gainesville; son, Harry Dale Smith of Proctor; daughter, Cherie Evans and husband Lynn of Dublin; stepson, Jerry Clark and wife Kelly of Rosebud; stepdaughter, Glenda Harper and husband Danny of Brady; grandchildren: Crystale, Courtney, Jody, Jake, Robyn, Jesse, Brody, Charity, Dolly, Billy Jack, Danny Jr., Daniel, Virgil and Tray; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Hawthorne of Comanche, sister-in-law, Pat McDonald of Hasse; many nieces, nephews and other family members; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shorty and Odessa McDonald; brothers, Hershel “Sonny” McDonald and Jack McDonald; and sisters, Hulene Harris, Wanda McCarty, and Barbara Kay McDonald.
A meal for the family will be at Hasse Community Center following the graveside Service.
