Mary Lopez, age 75, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020, in Comanche, Texas.
She was born on September 24, 1944, in Navasota, Texas, to Innocencio and Ramona (Ortiz) Lara. She was an outstanding mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and great-great-grandmother. She would do anything to make her family happy. Mary was a homemaker.
She is survived by her life partner, Zeferino Escobar; daughter, Sally Morin of Comanche; son, Augustine Lopez and wife Tammy of Blanket; son, Anson Lopez and wife, Lina of Comanche; daughter, Rachel Lombrano and husband Lupe of Brownwood; sister, Paula Rivera of Amarillo; brother, Jose Lara of Spur; brother, Pete Lara of Spur; brother, Jesse Lara of Moriarty, New Mexico; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Innocencio and Ramona (Ortiz) Lara; son, Robert Lopez; grandsons, Juan Morin and Michael Morin; brothers, Raymond Lara, Antonio Lara, Pablo Lara, and Primo Rios; and sisters, Natalia Lara, Elena Gonzales, Lydia Rodriguez and Shana Lopez.
