Obituary for MODET CHAPMAN
Margaret Modet Chapman was called home on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Comanche, Texas.
Modet was born on October 8, 1935 to Willie Kate (Sledge) and Walter Daniel Chapman. She was a member of Taylor’s Chapel Methodist Church and attended Soda Springs and Sidney elementary schools. She was born into a large, loving family where her siblings nicknamed her “Doodle”.
Modet is survived by two loving sisters, Mary Clemons and Tess Wilson, both of Comanche, Texas; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Kate (Sledge) and Walter Daniel Chapman; her three brothers, Jake Chapman, John “Buss” Chapman, and James “Biggie” Chapman; and sister, Audie “Toolie” Chapman.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the Western Hills Nursing Home of Comanche, Texas, for caring and loving Modet for the last 34 years.
