Obituary for PATRICIA JUNE SUMMERS
Patricia June Summers, age 79, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in China Spring, Texas.
Patricia was born June 4, 1942 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Wilson Ambrose Himes and Scythia Elizabeth (Conley).
On April 19, 1968, she was united in marriage to Jerry Duck Summers in Coryell County. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2018. Patricia was a member of First Baptist Church in China Spring, a civil service secretary, talented artist, quilter and seamstress. She was a devoted teacher of Sunday School and Precept ministries.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Frase of Oklahoma; sons, Clayton Summers and wife, Glenna of Tuscola and Montie Bland and wife Stephanie of China Spring; daughter, Jenifer Turner of Gatesville; grandchildren, Falon Summers and fiancé Jeffro Mullenax, Cory Summers, David Ellis, Whitney and Mike Lindquist, Courtney and Trevor Pinson, Caleb Bland, Joshua Bland, Beth and Nathan Arnold; and great granddaughter, Harley Russell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
