Reggie Henry Scott, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, surrounded by family in Austin, Texas at St. David’s Hospital, and entered his heavenly home with Jesus.
Reggie was born in Gorman, Texas on March 3, 1942, to Andy and Neppie Scott. He was united in marriage to Laquita McGuire on September 12, 1962, in Llano, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Army for three years in the 5th Missile Battalion, 517th Artillery in Abilene, Texas. He spent many years working in the turkey industry as a field service representative and made many friends throughout the years.
He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, gardening, playing dominoes and loved listening to gospel music. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him so much joy.
Reggie is survived by his wife, Laquita of sixty years of Comanche; son, Steve Brownlee and LaRue Cogburn, of Comanche; daughters, Katrina Feist and husband, Rickye, of Bluff Dale, Kim Delz and husband, Glenn, of Kingsland, and Sharla Wooten and husband, Terry, of Kingsland; four grandsons, Brandon Franklin, Jeff Franklin, Scott Delz, and Taylor Delz; three granddaughters, Amy Scott, Amanda Wendenberg, and Tara Gowens; 11 great-grandchildren, Cora Franklin, Jakson Franklin, John Wendenberg, Gracen Gowens, Randolph Franklin, Mason Scott, Ben Wendenberg, Paxton Franklin, Harper Jo Scott, Amelia Wendenberg, and Peyton Delz; sister, Judy Graham and husband, Roy Lee, of Euless; brother, Dendy Scott and Nena Gore, of Comanche; three nieces, Vicki Scott Jenkins, Jill Scott Davis, and Jana Scott Caldwell; and two nephews, Chris Graham and Kevin Graham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Neppie Scott and brother, Jerry Scott.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Franklin, Jeff Franklin, Scott Delz, Taylor Delz, Chris Graham, and Kevin Graham.
