Obituary for WALTER DAN HOLLAND

Dan Holland, 63, left his earthly family and joined his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 12, 2020 with his wife and sons by his side. He was born in DeLeon November 23, 1957 to James and Barbara Holland. He married Jenifer McDougal July 3, 1982 and they had a loving marriage of 38 years.

Dan loved more than anything spending time with his family-especially his sons and grandsons. He was the best husband/companion, Dad and Pops that anyone could ask for.

Dan had a successful career for 39 years with Gold Kist and Golden Peanut Companies. He retired from Golden Peanut Company in June 2019 to devote his time to his family and the family feed business.

Dan is survived by his wife, Jenifer; two sons, Justin and wife Amanda and Jeremy; three grandsons, Brayton, Hudson, and Hayes Holland; mother, Barbara Holland and mother-in-law, Morene McDougal; two brothers, Weldon and wife Nancy all of Comanche; Ernest and wife, Elaine of Bixby, Oklahoma and one brother-in-law, Larry McDougal and wife Glenna of Lubbock. He had nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and many extended family he loved so much.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, James Holland; father-in-law, E.J. McDougal: one brother, Randy Holland and brother-in-law, Scott McDougal.
